Can a site manager see what staff are paid?
No. A manager sees their own team’s hours and approves their weeks and holiday. Rates and gross pay are for the owner and payroll only, and the server refuses the rest of the office to a manager.
What if somebody works at two sites in a week?
Each person has one home site, and that site’s manager approves their whole week.
Do staff need an app from the App Store?
No. Shiftworks opens in the phone’s browser and can sit on the home screen like an app.
How do hours get in?
Through a clock-in tablet at each site, which is the next part being built: staff tap their name and enter a PIN. Tell us how you record hours today and we’ll talk you through it.
Does it do the payroll itself?
It gets everything ready for whoever does: approved hours by site, overtime and premium days, and holiday, as a spreadsheet for the accountant.
